Dang, guys. This thing is good. It is not served automatically vegan though, but rather vegetarian. By default, they come on standard bun, which has dairy in it, and they come with mayo and cheese. As for vegan safe ingredients, they include sweet relish, lettuce, tomato, onion and dill pickle. To veganize, ask for the burger on their ciabatta bun, and pass on the mayo and cheese. I have a sneaky little trick: I personally don't like a "dry" burger, so I bring in a little veganaise from home in a small food container.

The burger itself is very... beefy. I don't know what they've done, and it's probably breaking several tenants of food sanctity, but as someone who still enjoys the flavor of beef, without what it does to me/the planet, this thing is satisfying as heck.

It's a bit expensive, at just over $14.00, but along with their famous fluffy steak fries, it's a great treat, and not easily replicated (if not downright "Impossible" - heh) in your home kitchen.

Red Robin Impossible Burger Score:

Value: 4/5

Taste: 5/5

Filling: Definitely... maybe too filling

Would buy again: Definitely
